Bracelets for Mini Miracles

July is Mini Miracles month for the Beading Divas. All bracelet sales go for this non-profit organization.

Mini Miracles is blessed to get the opportunities to work with children. Miniature horses and miniature donkeys go to visit children at Casa de los Ninos, Arizona School for the Deaf/Blind, Tucson Alliance for Autism, Tu Nidito, Arts for All, plus various schools and foster care.

Young and old enjoy the visits.

–Desert Rose Homeopathics & Herbals, 2550 East Fort Lowell Road

–Dirty Dawgs, 2510 North Campbell Ave, 777-6045

Bracelets cost $20 (plus $3 S&H for online sales). All are one of a kind. One size fits most. They come with a paw or lucky charm fob. Buy a bracelet and help a Tucson local charity at the same time.

Dog Food & Pet Supplement Recalls
Merrick Pet Care, Inc. of Amarillo, Texas is recalling 86 cases of its 10 oz “Beef Filet Squares for Dogs” pet treats (ITEM # 60016 LOT # 10084TL7 BEST BY MARCH 24, 2012) because they have the potential to be contaminated with salmonella.

United Pet Group, Cincinnati, Ohio is voluntarily expanding its recent recall of its Pro-Pet Adult Daily Vitamin Supplement tablets for Dogs to include additional pet nutritional supplement products for dogs and cats due to possible salmonella contamination.

Good News for Greyhounds
Greyhound racing is done and gone in Kansas, the home of National Greyhound Association, and the progressive state of New Hampshire ended greyhound racing too.

“No longer are dogs being held hostage as the state subsidizes an industry that people have stated loudly and clearly with their pocketbooks that they no longer have an interest in supporting.” Hats off to New Hampshire and Kansas!

This means that less greyhounds are bred for racing for starters plus all the other animal cruelty that follows during their careers. Roo!
