Adopt Cassie

Cassie is full of joy

For the month of September, Beading Divas to the Rescue is excited to be fundraising for Tucson Cold Wet Noses. So far this year this all breed dog rescue has adopted out 77 dogs!

Let’s meet one special fur child named Cassie.

What’s not to love about Cassie?

This 7 year old charmer is a devoted dog. She is wonderful with children older than 10 y.o. and adults. Cassie loves car rides, slow and easy walks and is great on a leash. She is housebroken and crate trained. She has not shown any interest in cats at the boarding facility.

Though Cassie is non reactive to other dogs outside of the home she should be an only dog in the home as she doesn’t like dogs invading her boundaries.

For the person who only wants or can afford one dog — please consider Cassie. With so much love, Cassie, at 70 lbs, has a huge heart and is looking for someone like you to share it with.

To meet this great gal, please call 520-235-6309 today. Please share with others who might be looking for an only dog who is loyal to the core. We know someone special is waiting for Cassie.

So far this year TCWN has adopted out 77 dogs! That is a huge accomplishment. Please consider buying a bracelet or three or making a donation to them directly. Right now their focus is rescuing senior dogs or special needs dogs.

As a way to celebrate and give back, Beading Divas to the Rescue is hosting A CAUSE FOR APPLAUSE on Tuesday – May 6 – from 6 to 9 pm at LA Cocina Restaurant.

Eat, drink, listen to live music, buy bracelets, win prizes, and have fun. Invite your friends!

Cheers to bracelets helping animal rescues

The Beading Divas had a meeting of the minds yesterday as well as their creative spirit and along with six other women fashioned 37 one-of-a-kind coiled and beaded bracelets.

Along with the bubbly, the Divas celebrated raising $11,800 from bracelet sales in 2008-2009. Almost $4,000 went to help pay Lizzie’s astronomical vet bills and $7,800 went to an assortment of charities helping 4 cats, 17 greyhounds, and 1 horse. Of course.

New bracelets will be posted on Etsy this week (with a link to follow) and a/o Jan 1, 2010 sales of bracelets benefit Arizona Greyhound Rescue.

So, who are these Beading Divas?
