Remembering Buddy, greyhound assistance dog

Tucson Greyhounds & Friends Fall Festival 2010

Arizona Greyhound Rescue invites greyhounds and their adopters as well as all breeds of dogs and their companions to a memorable event on Saturday – November 13 at Brandi Fenton Park.

11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Buy accessories for you and your dogs.

Listen to live music.

Enter the biscuit bakeoff. You just might win the $40 Trader Joe’s gift card and make your dog proud.

Savor the live dessert auction with delectables by one of Tucson’s best female pastry chef.

Learn to dance with your dog.

Meet 7 dog rescues and 1 horse rescue. Get interactive with dogs available for adoption. Maybe there will be a canine love connection?

Mingle. Make new friends and remember old.

Eat: Kettle korn, hot dogs, and smoothies for sale.

Win lots of prizes — three different raffles with awesome prizes.

Silent auction.

The cost is $5/per family and all proceeds go to Arizona Greyhound Rescue which rescues retired racing greyhounds from the South Tucson dog track.

Bring your friends — 2-legged and 4 legged. Leave the cats at home.

Have fun!
